CLUB: Come MAKE art in a studio environment designed to cultivate young artists' imaginations! Each month students will build several different 3-D projects while receiving excellent instruction, guidance and feedback aiming to foster creative intuition. 

CLUB: This Art Club is for students who love to create! Each month, we'll learn, laugh, play and create in a fun and eclectic 3-D studio classroom environment, led by the much beloved Mr. Tee. For young artists looking for a place to belong while developing stronger creative and social skills, Young Week-End Warriors is for you.  

Young Week-End Warriors is a wonderful class to repeat as students will engage in new creative projects each month!

CLUB: Attention Teen Artists and Art Lovers — If you’re looking for a safe place to collab, connect and create, the Week-End Warriors is that place. Each month, you'll work on a project in a 2D & 3D open studio. You can paint, draw, sketch (kvetch), build, yield (and shield yourself from the haters and debaters). We offer basic woodworking and metal smithing as well. You are welcome here. 

NOTE: CLASS WILL NOT MEET ON APRIL 20, EASTER SUNDAY! Price has been reduced accordingly for the April Session.

EXPLORE: In this one night workshop, you'll learn the techniques, tools and materials involved in creating mosaic art! Learn the basics including proper adhesives, design/layout and grouting. You will complete a small project of your own design. Experiment with color and texture to discover all the possibilities of mosaic. All materials, supplies and use of tools are provided. Experience the endless possibilities of this beautiful art form! 

EXPLORE: In this workshop you'll have the opportunity to create two pieces of stunning glass jewelry. You will learn glass safety, how to cut glass, and how to design an original fused glass pendant. Using regular and dichroic fusible glass, you will take away one-of-a-kind wearable masterpieces! During class you'll design and build your two jewelry pieces. You'll then pick them up at a future date after the instructor fires them in the kiln. All materials and tools provided. BYOB allowed for Ages 21+

EXPLORE: Come on in and enjoy a glass of wine while you work on projects of your choice. An instructor will be there for inspiration and to help you troubleshoot. Demos will be offered. Feel free to work on the wheel or use the time to do some hand building. BYOB, Adults 21+

Unleash your creativity this summer at the Riverside Art Center’s Youth Camps! Designed for young artists from ages 5 - 12, this week-long camp offers hands-on experiences in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, collage, performance art, and more. Campers will explore an array of artistic mediums through engaging workshops led by talented teaching artists while rotating between RAC’s galleries, artist studios, art classrooms, and Riverside’s beautiful outdoor parks.

Campers will be grouped according to their incoming grades (K-4th and 5th-7th), and led by RAC’s teaching artists, who will collaborate, create, and build students’ confidence in their own artistic abilities. Each week culminates in a community art showcase, where families can celebrate the campers’ creativity and accomplishments.

Explore the Art of Clay!  Discover the world of ceramic art in this hands-on, two-week camp designed for teens who want to explore the fundamentals of clay. In a small group setting (maximum 6 students per session), each participant will receive personalized instruction in ceramics techniques. 

Led by experienced ceramic artists, campers will learn everything from hand-building, wheel throwing, surface techniques, and underglazing to glazing and kiln firing. With daily skill demonstrations and dedicated independent work time, students will develop confidence and craftsmanship while creating unique, functional, and sculptural pieces.
